PCX^TM employs various carrier-grade fraud-detection capabilities and QOS testing and monitoring tools to maximize security and call quality.

PCX^TM Elements

Phone Service

Cloud-based phone service with 90+ enterprise-grade calling features and excellent network call quality and uptime.

Each user receives a local phone number with unique extension, inbound/outbound caller ID, voicemail, and voicemail to email notification.

User configuration changes can be managed from a web portal.

Secure Voice Gateway

PCX^TM service includes a network interface device that resides at the customer premise. This gateway ensures secure connectivity to the Edge data centers and allows the connection to seamlessly traverse the customer network regardless of the customer 's existing equipment. Conversely, most competitor's phones operate only behind their approved firewalls.

Professional Support

Unlike other hosted voice services, Edge PCX^TM is fully supported by our 24x7 Network Operations Center professionals.

Telephones

Phones and gateway are pre-configured and delivered to plug and play; no special setup or technician required.

PCX^TM service can utilize Polycom, Yealink, Panasonic, and other high quality manufacturers' phones.

Soft Clients

PCX^TM service can be utilized via computers and smartphones.

Edge EOS Premise PBX

The Edge Operating System (EOS) PBX is a robust, fully-redundant, highly-featured customer premise-based phone system.

EOS includes other integrated software elements that ensure premium reliability of service such as Session Border Controller to enable SIP Trunking, Quality of Service to manage service prioritization, and High Availability including failover to a secondary broadband connection in case of a carrier outage or degradation of broadband service.

Included as standard features many elements that others charge extra for such as conferencing, voicemail, and ACD.

The Edge PBX is fully administered by Edge NOC technicians for the life of the device via a monthly services contract. This includes 24/7 monitoring, software updates, and unlimited moves/adds/changes.

Edge Elevate UC

Elevate is a cloud-based unified communications and collaboration platform that enables users to be more mobile, more productive and share ideas and content through a single system.
